Our Story

Built by founders, for founders.

Female Founders Zambia was born out of a personal realisation. Petra Chikasa and Sowi Munsaka, co-founders of Koloso, were deep in the work of building their own business when they kept running into the same walls: rooms where they were the only women, funding conversations that felt like they were written for someone else, and a shortage of people who truly understood what it meant to be a female entrepreneur in Zambia.

They knew they weren't alone. So instead of waiting for the support system they needed to exist, they built it. Female Founders Zambia is that community: a space where women entrepreneurs can access real connections, honest mentorship, and the opportunities that help businesses grow.
